Dental Care with Sedation Dentistry
Many patients exhibit some level of anxiety about having
dental treatment. If this includes you, rest assured
that you are by no means alone. The anxiety you may feel
can be alleviated with a simple regimen of taking a
sedative given to you for the appointment. This is done
in coordination with someone providing transportation to
and from your dental appointments. This regimen is used
for patients who experience moderate to severe anxiety
or for longer appointments. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
can be administered for shorter appointments and do not
require anyone to transport you to and from the office
if you only experience mild to moderate anxiety
symptoms.

Since 1998,
Dr. Gregg Kassan has been dedicated to providing
families in the Montclair community with quality dental
care for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles! He
places great emphasis on being a gentle, caring dentist
who treats each patient like family.
Dr. Kassan received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse
University in Syracuse, NY, and then earned his dental
degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1994. He
is a proud member of the American Dental Association,
the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the
International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is
also a lifetime member of the VCU School of Dentistry.
With over 200 hours of postgraduate education, Dr.
Kassan believes in lifelong learning in order to keep
up-to-date on the latest advances in modern dentistry.
Advanced training in cosmetic, restorative, and implant
dentistry allows Dr. Kassan to work with you on a wide
variety of dental concerns, forming a partnership in
achieving your optimum oral health.
Dr. Kassan is passionate about using new technology to
improve the comfort and quality of dentistry for you and
your family. With the help of today’s digital x-rays,
intra-oral camera, air abrasion, lasers, and sedation,
he can provide you with dental care that is more
precise, more comfortable, and less invasive than ever
before! He wants all of his patients, especially those
who are anxious about dental procedures, to have a

Outside of the office, Dr. Kassan enjoys spending time
with his wife, Sarah, and their two sons, Grant and
Chad. The family has a Boston Terrier named Mr. Nibbles.
Dr. Kassan’s hobbies include gardening, DIY projects,
and watching Jets football.
